For those of you that know me, you know I have had health issues. Well, lets just say we still don't know the cause or the cure but life goes on.
We have had to cut down on the gardens this year., We had talked about it before, but with the price of food now days, we were going to plant the entire thing. I guess all things happen for a reason. If we had gotten it planted it would have been washed away with all the rain we have had. So, it will be back to the original plan. I think we will plant about a fourth of the normal in veggies and a fourth in field corn for the animals. The other half, I think will be planted in orchard and broame grass mix and fenced off for livestock.
The weather here has been just plain nutz. We are in that line of storms that just keeps forming and training over the top of the last one. The gardens are all under water right now, I doubt that whats planted will survive, if this keeps up. The weather guessers are calling for this rain to keep up at least a few more days, then a couple days of dry, and then more rain. I guess this will get us out of the drought we have been in.
