I can finally say that the gardens are planted. It has been a rough spring around here. Then I'm not really sure we had a spring. We have been watering since the first week we started planting. The dirt is so dry and hard, it has to be watered down before the tiller will even get a bite. Now that its all planted, we did get 2in of rain in an hour last night. I'm not complaining, just wish it would have been spread out over a longer time span. Most of the stuff is doing ok, the strawberries did good this year despite the lack of rain, and the grapes seem to be making ok as well.

This year we will change the strawberry bed since the plants are getting old and we are cultivating the runners in the AP unit now. I would like to double the size of the bed before fall.
